My Disclaimer: I was provided a free ecopy of this book for subscribing to the author’s newsletter. I am providing an honest review for which I am receiving no compensation of any kind. All opinions are fully my own.~ Judi E. Easley for Blue Cat ReviewMy Review: ✭✭✭⭑Time travel romance is tricky. It either works or it doesn’t. I’m not sure that this one does. So far, it’s all in the dark, literally. Everyone is stumbling around in the dark. It got really confusing keeping track o [...]

The blurb promised a steamy time travel romance and it really delivered. The plot was very simple for the series- 3 friends from the southern US are starting a week's vacation in Maine and end up getting lost in supernatural fog. With that for a series premise I could not resist and I had to check it out. So this is the story of Megan and her trip to 1892. The story had a hero, Everett a supply runner, and a villain I loved to hate, Zachariah founder of the town and all round horrible person. Sp [...]

This is going to surprise a lot of people, cause I’m at a loss too. I loved this book.Yes, it was terribly written and the plot was completely far-fetched, but there was just something that I couldn’t put it down. It’s probably my obsession with time travelling and pirates. This is a very steamy book right from the get go. I’m not kidding when I say our two main characters meet for the first time and they are all over each other.I don’t shy away from sex scenes in books, I’m not a pru [...]

Megan and Everett's story grabbed me and took me away with them on an adventure. The writer's descriptions swept me into the past with Megan as her new world became very real and dangerous. The action was well done and the pacing kept me turning the pages long after I wanted to go to sleep. The romance is sizzling hot. This is a great start to a time travel/paranormal series but can be read as a stand alone book. There is an aspect of the story that one can tell will continue into the next book. [...]

It was badThe plot was conceived most likely by a teenager as it didn't make any sense. The public fondling in front of the crew and in the middle of a storm was ghrrrr. Trapping the hero in the lighthouse by 2 severely injured individuals with mortar (how convenient!) Heroine cooking ham and gourmet dinner in an abandoned adobe while having sex with a stranger - they fell in love? How? 2 promiscuous and wanton individuals that started being physical with each other within 2 seconds of meeting. [...]

I was blessed with a free copy of this book, and have chosen of my own volition to share this review with you!A bunch of girls head out on an long-anticipated girls vacation. Exploration of the local sights, namely light houses is on the agenda. On the way to the first light house, a dense fog descends. One friend gets separated from the others, ending up warped back two hundred years. The story continues from there. Finding love, lust, and danger! This book took a bit to get into. The story line [...]

I enjoyed this book with it's time travel and magic elements. The romance part was good but I didn't enjoy the graphic sex. The story for me would have just as good or better based on the other parts. From the Mist is the first in a three part series about three friends who are on vacation after years of not seeing each other. They drive on a road to a lighthouse and a strange mist comes upon them. You'll have to read the book the find out the rest. I received a free copy of this book in exchang [...]

I enjoyed this book. It took me a little while to get into it, but I put that down to personal stresses at work, but when I finally found some chill time I powered through it. The love scenes are intense and build up over time but not sure if it warranted a whole chapter for each orgasm. I won't give any spoiler's away but the next two books in the trilogy are now on my (ever growing) books to read list. If they are anything like the first book I'm sure I shall enjoy them, but I would also like [...]

    • M. C. (MagsTheBookWorm) says:

A decent read. The main reason I was intrigued by this book was the time travel aspect. While it was well written, I just couldn't get into the instant passion and instant love between the main characters. In short, it was too far of a stretch to be even remotely believable. That being said, it was a good read but left far too much shrouded in mystery with regards to the cause of the time travel for my tastes. I understand it's a trilogy, but a bit more information in this one would have made me [...]

Time travel, to fulfill a prophecy?Three friends take a weeks vacation from the reality cooking show in which Megan stars. Suddenly deep fog rolls in and Megan finds herself in a new reality. Time travel stories have been the reason I haunted the library from sixth grade forward. The series follows each of the friends through their adventures. This story is believable and written with details that made me shiver. I received this novel free and am writing an honest review.

    • Shakera says:

I tend to finish books (even the ones I don't like) because I want to see what happens or see if it gets better. Unfortunately, I have to add this to my DNF pile (which is extremely short). I'm having a hard time getting into this story. The first few chapters are just not interesting. I will give it another try at a later date.

    • Rachael says:

A fast paced steamy romance that keeps you glued til the end. The connection between Megan and Everett is instantaneous and full of heat. The villain in the story, Captain Donovan, is downright scary. He has no morals and will do anything to get what he wants. I loved the drama and the chase to keep one step ahead. I can't wait to read the next story in the series.

    • Cheri says:

I gave up on this mid-way through the third chapter. I have too many books waiting to be read to waste time on something I am simply not enjoying. I have no idea what is going on in this story and, frankly, I don't care enough to continue reading long enough to find out. This one just wasn't for me.

    • Anna Ballard says:

Exciting time-travel. It is kind of a cliffhanger and since it is a trilogy, I will have to get the other two volumns to see how it ends. I usually avoid cliffhangers because they are often not worth pursuing. However I think may be an exception.

    • Andrea Mccormick says:

Outlander only with pirates!!If you love the Outlander series, then you will love these books! Instead of standing stones taking you to the past it's the thick mist formed from a witch. Great love story, can't wait to read more!

    • Stephanie Johnson says:

Good characters just have issues that each person just accepted time travel that easily and within "hours" are deeply in love

    • Linda Galganski says:

Great readI love the time travel and how interesting the characters were.I can't wait to buy the next book in the series

Not in the mood, I guess I tried to get into this book for a few days. Not sure why I couldn't. I only made it to page 61.

    • Bella says:

Poorly written, confused, historically inaccurate and very badly edited.

I enjoyed this story so very much. This is the first for me with this author and trust me when I say it won't be the last. Very mystifying lot's of suspense and intrigue. I enjoyed it very much.
