      I’m a big fan of historical fiction and especially those concerning the Roman empire. Anything from that period of history always fascinates me and I knew little of the events portrayed in this book, which just made it even better. This is really a great book, a true page turner and with grippingly real battle scenes. Not only was the story excellent but it made me want to find out more about the Dacian War and the events after it. The author has a real talent for blending history and the art [...]

      Another great book by Jocelyn Murray, who blends real historical timelines with her ability to tell an interesting and exciting story. The Roman General is a good read and a pleasant way to spend a few hours.
