This is a book for editors. Do not start with this book if you've never done any video editing before. If you can talk about a couple of the industry-leading NLE's, and the differences between them, then this book is for you. It's a comprehensive guide to what you need to jump into to Adobe Premiere Pro CS 5.5 and crank out product. And it's excellent.
